Our Neighbourhood Plan - Drop In Day

After a quieter summer when we got up to date with analysing responses and checking things with the master plan, autumn sees us ready to hold another drop in day which will be on Sat 7th Nov at the Methodist Church Hall between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

You will be able to see which sites are being assessed as a result of the call for sites earlier in the year and receive an update on any progress. We will also have ready the proposed paper on Objectives for the Plan which you will be able to comment on. These objectives have been drawn up from the results of the two questionnaires which you, the community, responded to and will form a part of the final submission.

Members of the team will be on hand to discuss any aspect of the Plan which concerns you and to take note of suggestions and ideas so that all voices can be a part of the process.

But, a reminder, this is the Hartley Wintney Plan and whilst we are fully aware of the Winchfield situation, any decision on that is a long way away and we can only plan for our Plan on known issues . Hart may decide that housing numbers in general need to be raised and in that case they will tell each community what numbers they must accept and that will be absorbed into the process. If we delay any decisions or proposals then we run the risk of our Plan being overtaken by applications which are not part of the known scenario.

So - please come and see us on Nov 7th and update yourselves on how it's all going.
